Teardrop Earrings in My Shadow Dog Designs Jewelry Shop

It seems lately that I have become enamored with teardrop shaped earrings.  Three new pairs of earrings have been listed recently in my SHADOW DOG DESIGNS handmade jewelry shop.  Teardrops are always so sleek looking, in my humble opinion.  In fact, I made a pair for me and wear them quite often.  Since teardrops have been in my repertoire lately, I thought I'd feature the three newest teardrop earrings and then three that have been in the shop for a little while.  Enjoy!

Ocean Jasper with Druzy Necklace, Gemstone Sterling Handmade Jewelry

The "Meanderings" handmade necklace features beautiful ocean jasper with druzy rounds and sterling silver - chunky statement necklace for women.

The MEANDERINGS necklace, a delightful gift idea for the woman who loves chunky statement jewelry, is filled with earthy elegance and unique, sparkling druzy inclusions.  The handmade necklace features outstanding ocean jasper (also called orbicular jasper) rounds that are a gorgeous mottled brown color - except for two near the front that are off white with dots and splotches of brown.  For those who love unexpected sparkle, most of the jasper rounds have druzy crystal inclusions, some large and some smaller.  Druzies, which are much sought after and highly valued, are small crystals that sometimes form in hollow places in gemstones - tiny crystals that sparkle greatly despite their small size.  To add warm glow against the earthy stones, six sterling silver Saturn beads separate the jasper rounds in the front of the necklace.  A hammered sterling hook clasp finishes the necklace perfectly.  Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the MEANDERINGS druzy necklace was created for the woman who adores wearing unique artisan created jewelry that no one else has.

Zebra Earrings with African Batik Beads and Red Coral, Handmade Animal Jewelry

The "Zebra Stripes" handmade earrings feature artisan handmade pewter zebra charms and several African tribal beads - unique gift for women.

The unique ZEBRA STRIPES handmade earrings with a definite tribal flair are perfect for you if you love the animals of Africa, especially the elegant looking black and white striped zebras.   Very boho in design, the earrings feature lead free pewter charms with a raised zebra design that were artisan hand cast.  Given a dark rustic patina, the charms were then polished to bring out the intricate detailing of the zebras.  Stacked above each zebra charm are dark brown and white striped African batik beads (to mimic the coloration of the zebras), blazing red coral discs and yellow and black striped African Christmas glass trade beads.  A red Christmas glass trade bead was added to the sterling silver earwires to finish the ethnic earrings. Created for the woman who adores one of a kind jewelry with a boho beat, the ZEBRA STRIPES earrings were carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.

The dark brown and white striped African batik bone discs, used to mimic the coloration of zebras, were individually handmade in Ghana.

New One of a Kind Jewelry Handmade by Shadow Dog Designs
