Ocean Jasper with Druzy Necklace, Gemstone Sterling Handmade Jewelry
The "Meanderings" handmade necklace features beautiful ocean jasper with druzy rounds and sterling silver - chunky statement necklace for women.
The MEANDERINGS necklace, a delightful gift idea for the woman who loves chunky statement jewelry, is filled with earthy elegance and unique, sparkling druzy inclusions. The handmade necklace features outstanding ocean jasper (also called orbicular jasper) rounds that are a gorgeous mottled brown color - except for two near the front that are off white with dots and splotches of brown. For those who love unexpected sparkle, most of the jasper rounds have druzy crystal inclusions, some large and some smaller. Druzies, which are much sought after and highly valued, are small crystals that sometimes form in hollow places in gemstones - tiny crystals that sparkle greatly despite their small size. To add warm glow against the earthy stones, six sterling silver Saturn beads separate the jasper rounds in the front of the necklace. A hammered sterling hook clasp finishes the necklace perfectly. New One of a Kind Jewelry Handmade by Shadow Dog Designs
It has been quite some time since I shared my newest jewelry in a blog. With selling at arts festivals, traveling and other such consumers of time, I haven't taken the time to sit down and share my newest necklaces and earrings. I normally share the jewelry on my SHADOW DOG DESIGNS shop blog. But since I started this blog only a few weeks ago, I decided to show off my jewelry here. Each piece is handmade by me and is a one-of-a-kind creation. El Paso Artists Studio Tour 2019
The 12th Annual El Paso Artists Studio Tour will soon be here. Over 40 artists at 19 studios will participate, bringing unique art to art lovers . . . and also food, drink, and in some instances, entertainment. The Studio Tour takes place over the course of two weekends:
El Paso’s Westside and Upper Valley is Saturday, April 27 (10 am - 5 pm) and Sunday, April 28 (noon - 5 pm).
El Paso’s East, Central, Downton, Northeast and Mission Valley is Saturday, May 4 (10 am - 5 pm) and Sunday, May 5 (noon - 5 pm).

I am thrilled to be taking part in the Studio again this year. Local photographer Nina Eaton of Nina Eaton Photography - graciously invited me to set up my handmade, one of a kind Shadow Dog Designs jewelry at her house again. With Mother's Day quickly approaching, it's a perfect time to pick up a wide variety of photographic work (photographs, coaster, magnets, etc) of local landmarks and unique jewelry - something for even the pickiest of Moms! In addition, we each are giving away a $35.00 gift certificate - all you need to do is fill out a registration form and hope your name is drawn.
