The 12th Annual El Paso Artists Studio Tour will soon be here. Over 40 artists at 19 studios will participate, bringing unique art to art lovers . . . and also food, drink, and in some instances, entertainment. The Studio Tour takes place over the course of two weekends:

El Paso’s Westside and Upper Valley is Saturday, April 27 (10 am - 5 pm) and Sunday, April 28 (noon - 5 pm).

El Paso’s East, Central, Downton, Northeast and Mission Valley is Saturday, May 4 (10 am - 5 pm) and Sunday, May 5 (noon - 5 pm).

Below is a flyer listing all studios / artists participating with street addresses and phone numbers:

I am thrilled to be taking part in the Studio again this year. Local photographer Nina Eaton of Nina Eaton Photography - graciously invited me to set up my handmade, one of a kind Shadow Dog Designs jewelry at her house again. With Mother's Day quickly approaching, it's a perfect time to pick up a wide variety of photographic work (photographs, coaster, magnets, etc) of local landmarks and unique jewelry - something for even the pickiest of Moms! In addition, we each are giving away a $35.00 gift certificate - all you need to do is fill out a registration form and hope your name is drawn. Below is a flyer with the individual information for Nina's studio:

I hope you get out and about and enjoy the tour and the fabulous art it will be showcasing. And I look forward to seeing you at Nina's studio!

Many thanks to Hal Marcus Gallery, the El Paso Scene and the Pleinair Painters of El Paso for sponsoring the tour. Many of the artists will also have have one of their pieces in the KCOS Channel 13 Art Auction.

Sherpa Necklace, Red Glass Vintage Nepal Ethnic Handmade Jewelry Gift

sherpa bead ethnic necklace for women

Combining the rustic beauty of old recycled glass beads with the elegance of white pearls, the SUNDARA HĀRA necklace is a unique beauty for the woman who adores handmade ethnic jewelry. The one of a kind necklace features old Nepali Sherpa red orange glass rondelles with gleaming pewter floral bead caps. The glowing semi baroque white pearls are an eye catching juxtaposition to the Sherpa beads. A one of a kind piece of organic jewelry that will be a perfect gift for the woman who loves tribal jewelry, the SUNDARA HĀRA necklace was carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs. “Sundara Hāra” is Nepali for “beautiful necklace.”
